Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and networks for vulnerabilities, intrusions, and suspicious activities during weekend shifts
- Conduct incident response and forensic analysis to mitigate cyber threats
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
- Generate and analyze security reports for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Stay current on emerging threats and security best practices
- Participate in security audits and compliance assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC background
- Industry certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and threat intelligence
