Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and execute incident response playbooks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Document security procedures and compliance reports (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Maintain security awareness through quarterly team training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC background
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification (required)
- Expertise in network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Strong analytical skills with ability to work independently on weekend shifts
