Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Systems: Observe security alerts and indicators of compromise in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Incident Response: Assist in the triage, documentation, and remediation of security incidents and potential breaches.
- Vulnerability Management: Participate in vulnerability scanning and assessment processes to identify system weaknesses.
- Security Compliance: Support the maintenance of security documentation and adherence to compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Threat Research: Research current threat landscapes and emerging cyber threats to stay ahead of attackers.
- User Support: Assist in educating end-users on security best practices and phishing awareness.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for eager learners with a passion for technology and security.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Interest: Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Language: Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
