Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices
- Lead security awareness training for employees across multiple locations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and threat intelligence platforms
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote settings
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in high-pressure scenarios
