In this pivotal role, you will act as the guardian of our digital infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to threats, and ensuring our systems remain resilient against evolving cyber attacks.
Responsibilities
- Incident Response & Monitoring: Monitor security alerts and events 24/7, performing rapid triage and remediation to minimize downtime and mitigate threats.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and code reviews to identify and patch security weaknesses before they are exploited.
- Security Architecture: Implement, configure, and manage security solutions including firewalls, SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), and intrusion detection systems.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations such as SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR, maintaining detailed audit trails and documentation.
- Threat Intelligence: Analyze global threat intelligence feeds to proactively identify emerging risks and adjust security controls accordingly.
- Security Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on phishing, social engineering, and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent professional certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Incident Response, or Information Security role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux/Windows administration, scripting (Python/Bash), and SIEM tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders.
