Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cybersecurity incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement security protocols to protect against emerging threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Document security incidents and provide detailed forensic analysis reports
- Stay current on threat intelligence and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis or information security roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong analytical skills with experience in threat detection and response
