Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls to mitigate emerging cyber threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Document security incidents, forensic analysis, and remediation procedures
- Provide 24/7 security operations support on rotational basis
- Stay current on threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS/Azure Security Center)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and common protocols
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure incident response scenarios
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- US citizenship or valid work authorization required
