Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and network traffic for suspicious activity.
- Investigate security incidents and breaches to determine the root cause and implement corrective actions.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in systems.
- Develop and implement security measures to protect sensitive data and digital assets.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and best practices to ensure robust security posture.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Document security incidents, actions taken, and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably as a Security Analyst or similar.
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
