Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation
- Implement and manage firewall, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on secure CI/CD pipelines
- Document security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior security analysts and conduct threat hunting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in security operations or threat analysis
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Knowledge of zero-trust architecture and network segmentation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
