Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and playbooks
- Implement zero-trust security architectures
- Collaborate with IT teams on security policy development
- Document security incidents and provide executive reports
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on threat detection experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Experience with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
