Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and investigate potential cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Document and report security incidents according to NIST and ISO standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze malware and suspicious activities using forensic investigation tools
- Participate in incident response drills and tabletop exercises
- Stay current on emerging threats and countermeasures through ongoing training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, routers)
