In this role, you will undergo rigorous mentorship and hands-on training in our state-of-the-art SOC (Security Operations Center). We are looking for driven individuals who want to protect critical infrastructure and learn from industry veterans.
Responsibilities
- Monitor & Analyze: Continuously monitor network traffic and security systems to detect suspicious activities and potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Assist in the triage and remediation of security incidents, following established incident response protocols.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular scans and assessments to identify system weaknesses and recommend patches or mitigation strategies.
- Log Analysis: Analyze security logs using SIEM tools to identify patterns indicative of cyber attacks or breaches.
- Compliance Support: Help ensure the organization adheres to industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or ISO 27001.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively hunt for advanced persistent threats (APTs) within the network environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field is a plus.
- Networking Basics: A fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and basic networking concepts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document findings and report to stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, self-motivation, and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts as required to maintain 24/7 security coverage.
