Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and systems for suspicious activity and security breaches.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Respond to security incidents and execute incident response plans to mitigate threats.
- Configure and manage firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure secure software and hardware deployment.
- Maintain detailed documentation of security policies, incidents, and compliance audits.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior cybersecurity experience is required. We are looking for candidates with a strong aptitude for technology.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer networks (TCP/IP), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and web technologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a full-time schedule and complete the intensive 12-week training program.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
