Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Investigate suspicious network activity and respond to security incidents promptly.
- Assist in forensic investigations and log analysis.
- Update and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure system integrity and compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer networks (TCP/IP, OSI model) and operating systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to obtain industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+ (training and funding provided).
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of ethical integrity and discretion.
- Willingness to complete a structured, paid training program and pass assessments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
