Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and SIEM dashboards.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and perform basic penetration testing support.
- Respond to and remediate cybersecurity incidents and security breaches in real-time.
- Configure and manage firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Document security incidents, create reports, and update incident response playbooks.
- Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to ensure secure system configurations.
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices to proactively protect assets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
- Willingness to learn: Strong desire to enter the cybersecurity field and participate in our paid training curriculum.
