What You Will Do:
In this role, you will act as the first line of defense, monitoring our networks for suspicious activity and responding to incidents with speed and precision. You will work closely with IT and engineering teams to implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required Skills & Technologies:
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm).
- Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor & Detect: Continuously monitor security systems and SIEM dashboards to identify potential threats, anomalies, and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and containment of security breaches, working to minimize impact and restore normal operations swiftly.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments to identify weaknesses in the network architecture.
- Security Architecture: Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and access management systems.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to internal security policies and external regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA) through documentation and audits.
- User Education: Collaborate with the IT team to provide security awareness training and best practices to employees.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or a related IT discipline.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting is a plus.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Orlando, FL.
