Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches or unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure coding practices.
- Generate reports on security metrics and compliance status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT role.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm, QRadar).
- Knowledge of network security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and encryption standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification is highly preferred.
