Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and system logs to identify potential security breaches or anomalies.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Respond to and document security alerts and incidents in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Perform routine vulnerability scans and basic penetration testing support tasks.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to investigate suspicious activity and mitigate risks.
- Support compliance efforts by maintaining accurate security documentation and audit trails.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field is a plus).
- A strong desire to learn and a genuine interest in technology and network security.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
