Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA adherence
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop incident response playbooks and security automation scripts
- Collaborate with global security teams during cross-continental threat events
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance with NIST frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat detection role
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network segmentation
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (9 PM - 6 AM PT)
- Valid US driver's license for occasional on-site requirements
