Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems 24/7, investigating and mitigating cyber threats during night shifts
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents, documenting findings and implementing remediation protocols
- Manage vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks
- Respond to alerts from intrusion detection/prevention systems with rapid incident response protocols
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts for threat detection and reporting
- Participate in rotating on-call duty for critical incident escalation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with night shift or rotational shift work
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61, ISO 27035)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Valid U.S. driver's license and clean background check
