Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across 24/7 SIEM infrastructure
- Investigate and respond to cyber incidents during night shift hours
- Perform threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident response playbooks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document security incidents and prepare executive-level reports
- Implement and optimize security controls for cloud/on-prem environments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with threat intelligence feeds (e.g., MISP, AlienVault)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 PM AZ)
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001 frameworks
