Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise networks and systems during night shift operations
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, implementing containment and remediation procedures
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and security documentation for leadership review
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and protocols
- Stay current with emerging threats and threat intelligence to enhance defensive measures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, SIEM management, or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, etc.) and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize threats during high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM CST) with weekend rotation

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
