Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents during overnight hours
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document security incidents and generate comprehensive reports
- Collaborate with global security teams during major incidents
- Implement security controls and recommend improvements
- Conduct threat intelligence analysis for emerging risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Experience with SIEM tools and IDS/IPS systems
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Eligibility for US government clearance (if required)
