Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct 24/7 threat hunting to identify vulnerabilities within our network.
- Perform log analysis using SIEM tools to detect anomalous behavior.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches using established incident response protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to patch vulnerabilities and strengthen security postures.
- Generate detailed reports on security events and compliance status.
- Conduct periodic security assessments and vulnerability scans.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
- Active Night Shift availability required.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security frameworks (NIST, ISO).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Fort Worth, TX.
