Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise systems during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed incident response logs
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless security operations
- Implement and maintain security controls for cloud and on-premise environments
- Stay updated on emerging threats and adapt defense strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Experience with network security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and cloud platforms
- Ability to work independently during night shift with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills for threat detection and incident response
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional on-site emergencies
