Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents across cloud/on-premise environments
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Generate detailed incident reports and remediation recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance frameworks
- Participate in tabletop exercises for incident response preparedness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certifications preferred
- Proficiency in IDS/IPS tools (Snort, Suricata)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid US driver's license and ability to work night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
