Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM tools for 24/7 threat detection and alert triage
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and breaches
- Implement advanced firewall rules and IDS/IPS configurations
- Collaborate with global teams during cross-continental incident responses
- Develop and maintain SOC playbooks for emerging threats
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing exercises
- Generate executive-level security incident reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience in SOC or threat intelligence roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
