Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise networks using Splunk and QRadar SIEM platforms
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including malware outbreaks and intrusion attempts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Implement security controls and remediation measures for identified risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during incident response and threat hunting operations
- Document security events, incident reports, and standard operating procedures
- Stay current with emerging threats, attack vectors, and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS systems, and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK techniques
- Experience with Linux/Windows system administration and network fundamentals
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting
