Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations and threat hunting across enterprise networks
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Document incident response procedures and generate executive reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security events
- Stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Qualifications
- 3+ years cybersecurity experience with SOC operations background
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, SANS)
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
