Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7, investigating and triaging security alerts during night shifts
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and coordinate cross-functional remediation
- Perform proactive threat hunting using advanced detection methodologies
- Document security events, incident reports, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with global security teams during complex incident response scenarios
- Implement and optimize security controls for cloud/on-premises environments
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with night shift or 24/7 operations
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (CISSP preferred)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST CSF)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Valid US government security clearance or ability to obtain
