Responsibilities
- Monitor security events 24/7 using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with precision
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence
- Document security protocols and incident reports
- Implement advanced security controls for cloud/on-premise environments
- Conduct forensic analysis during security breaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years in SOC operations or incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH required
- Expertise in threat detection tools (IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and architecture
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
