Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents across global networks
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and malware events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat mitigation strategies
- Document incident reports and maintain security event logs
- Participate in red team exercises and vulnerability assessments
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats and defensive techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in security operations, SOC, or incident response roles
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+ preferred)
- Proficiency in IDS/IPS tools (Snort, Suricata)
- Experience with network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills and decision-making under pressure
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
