Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
- Lead incident response efforts and post-incident analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure architecture and patch management.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network defense.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and common attack vectors.
- Hands-on experience with security tools like Splunk, SIEM, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
