Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches or policy violations.
- Develop and update security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development and deployment practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity or information security role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
