Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and respond to breaches in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Manage firewall configurations and intrusion detection systems to ensure network integrity.
- Perform security audits and provide detailed reporting to management.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
