Responsibilities
- Monitor & Respond: Analyze security alerts and logs using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Threat Management: Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network infrastructure.
- Security Operations: Manage firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions to maintain a robust security posture.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST) through regular audits and documentation.
- Incident Response: Lead the technical investigation and remediation of security breaches, coordinating with IT and legal teams as needed.
- Policy Enforcement: Develop and enforce security best practices and training programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network administration.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools, endpoint detection systems, and scripting (Python/Bash) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions during security breaches.
