Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts 24/7 to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively secure systems.
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents in real-time, coordinating with internal teams as needed.
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports to ensure compliance.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats to recommend continuous improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, or LogRhythm).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly.
