Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and conduct 24/7 on-call rotation as required.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain robust security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Respond to security breaches and orchestrate incident response plans to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch systems and secure network infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related IT role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud environments.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and log analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
