Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents 24/7 via SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security policies.
- Respond to and investigate security breaches and anomalies promptly.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software deployment and patch management.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards (NIST, ISO, HIPAA).
- Document security incidents and provide detailed reports to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and network protocols.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools and EDR solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data logs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
