Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network architecture.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to contain and eradicate cyberattacks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and NIST standards.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices for the organization.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and DevSecOps pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or in a similar security role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in security tools like Splunk, Wireshark, or similar SIEM platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
