Join Apex Security Corp as a Cybersecurity Analyst and protect critical infrastructure in the heart of New York City. We are looking for a vigilant professional to join our elite SOC team and ensure our digital perimeter is impenetrable.
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our defense strategy, identifying vulnerabilities and neutralizing threats before they impact our operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools like Splunk or Splunk Enterprise Security.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network infrastructure.
- Manage and respond to security incidents, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Enforce organizational security policies and compliance standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security patches and configure firewalls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or SOC analysis.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
