Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen security posture.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with IT teams to mitigate risks effectively.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations.
- Manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Document security procedures and prepare incident reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or information security analysis.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
