Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and AlienVault SIEM platforms
- Conduct incident response coordination during security breaches
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security documentation including playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams on hardening initiatives
- Lead phishing simulation campaigns and security awareness training
- Manage security tool configurations including CrowdStrike and Palo Alto firewalls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or incident response
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification (required)
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container security
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance requirements
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
