Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and implement security protocols to mitigate zero-day threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive dashboards
- Lead threat hunting initiatives using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Manage security tool integrations including EDR and firewalls
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate security events
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
