Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring & Response: Analyze SIEM alerts and logs to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses before they are exploited.
- Security Architecture: Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and HIPAA through audits and policy enforcement.
- Incident Analysis: Perform post-incident reviews and root cause analysis to strengthen the organization's defensive posture.
- Security Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to raise security awareness across all employee levels.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a similar role.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), Python scripting, and Linux/Windows administration.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Fort Worth, TX.
