Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel) to identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response investigations, including root cause analysis and containment strategies.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices and secure coding standards.
- Manage security documentation, including risk assessments and audit reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Proficient in using firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex log data and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
