Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and implement incident response protocols for security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce NIST and ISO 27001 compliance
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Lead threat hunting initiatives to identify emerging attack vectors
- Manage security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in network security protocols (TCP/IP, IDS/IPS, firewalls)
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong analytical skills for threat correlation and incident investigation
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (if required)
