Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and forensic investigations for security incidents
- Develop and implement security playbooks for incident response
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden network infrastructure
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and reports
- Stay current on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with security tools: IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability scanners
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment
