Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate breach response
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud/on-prem environments
- Create security documentation and incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities
- Stay current with emerging threats and security trends
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Strong knowledge of NIST and CIS frameworks
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- US citizenship or valid work authorization required
