Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Lead incident response efforts to contain and mitigate cyber threats in real-time.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, CIS, and HIPAA security frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to implement security patches and firewalls.
- Document security incidents and create detailed reports for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
